I had a few light scratches and scuffs on my car that were caused by my snow brush when wiping snow off my car. I tried buffing them out with soap, water, a rag, and car washes but none of that worked. I tried using this product and it worked well. This is more for the light scuff marks that are left due to various minor hazards. Don’t expect it to repair even the lightest actual scratch marks where paint has actually been removed.

I recently suffered several long clear-coat scratches on a new vehicle that did not belong to me. It was a rental. I was desperate to make these scratches go away. I bought two different products hoping against hope that one would work. I used them both at once to see which of the two, if any, would work. The both worked, but one worked better than the other. This was the “other.” The better one was Meguiar’s G10307 ScratchX 2.0.

Can this be used on auto windshield glass?
Answer: I don??t believe this would work on glass. It is made for paint finishes.

Will this work on deep scratches? Ones that are down to the metal? Bought another brand scratch remover at Target and it didn’t work on the deep one.
Answer: I have superficial scratched and this product did not do the job as they state it does, so I don’t think that deeper scratched will disappear with Scratch Out Formula 1. Sorry I would had love to tell you that it works but it did not for me. Good luck with your search!

Will this product remove scratches from a guitar?
Answer: Absolutely! Used this as a final polish for my guitar. I was totally amazed at what it done. I used it with a foam pad and an electric drill. Moisten the foam pad with a little bit of water put about 5 drops of scratch out on the foam pad. Lightly rub this into the pad and then apply to your guitar about medium-speed.
