I had purchased a 3 year extended warranty on a Subwoofer. One of the rocker switches snapped off. Asurion sent easy to follow instructions on returning the unit to them for repair.
When it was found to be unrepairable, they immediately issued an Amazon gift card as reimbursement. From their receipt of the Subwoofer to refund took about 5 days.
Excellent. No hassle. No fine print/red tape. I will be using them again when I re-purchase a replacement.

Purchased this to cover a cell phone signal booster. Read the fine print, and the coverage being sold only covered replacing the item if it died in a power surge (difficult to prove) because the Asurion plan period was less than the manufacturer’s warranty. This was confirmed with an Asurion representative in a phone conversation. This plan should not be sold if its period of coverage is less than the manufacturer’s warranty period.
Amazon refunded the money promptly, but it was less than 48 hrs after purchase that the Asurion plan was “returned”.
Customer Questions & Answers
I play music via Apple TV thru a Bose soundbar hardwired into a TV & want to play the same music in bath at same time with this – possible?
Yes, it is possible with the addition of a SONOS CONNECT to your existing Bose System. The SONOS connect receives SONOS signals, much like your AppleTV receives AirPlay signals. The problem is, if you simply add a SONOS speaker to the bathroom, you’ve got the speaker in the bathroom waiting for SONOS signals, and the??
I have the sonos playbar and the matching sub. Would a pair of the play:1’s complete a 5.1 setup?
Answer: Yes, you will have a perfect 5.1 set up. I made the mistake of going for the pair of play 3 with the same set up and I honestly think the play 1 work better for that particular set up IMHO.
DOES SONOS HAVE A LINE IN?
Answer: Only two of their products have a line in: Sonos 5 has an analog line in for connecting a phone/tablet/laptop; and the Playbar has an optical audio input (AppleTV; Roku etc.). I use the analog line in for my laptop only and the app for all mobile/wifi devices.
